International Women's Day
sitting in darkness in my little corner of the world
watching the pale night sky
sliced by massive silvery blazing burning stars
making sense of the violence that's going on
refusing to be nursed by its rules
the rules of threat, terror and hard fight…
In my flesh
I hold the seed of miracle of birth
to fulfill the human need
to lead men on sea journey troops
of serenity and deed…
my soul aches,
when hearing the beat,
it blows in their direction
touches, presses against the naked earth
when giving birth
to the children yelling for life
and praying for a dove
to keep them warm
under its wings…
